Description

Caño Cristales is considered one of the most beautiful rivers in the world, it was chosen as the first natural wonder of Colombia; truly a place where magical realism dwells!

It is located in the Serranía de la Macarena, one of the most biodiverse places in Colombia. Its five colors, its fauna, its flora, its contrasts, its people and its landscape in general are mind-blowing, as they impregnate the spirit with balance. Hidden Colombia has been visiting Caño Cristales, located in the middle of the Colombian jungle of the Guyanese shield, for more than 15 years. The river with its crystalline waters invites you to live in peace and harmony with the cosmos. The Serranía de la Macarena has more than 1592 species of plants, 772 registered species of fauna and is believed to have more than 17 of the 62 types of ecosystems in the country.

For this reason and for our love to the territory, Hidden Colombia is in charge of the Madre Selva💚 Forest Reserve with 400 meters of Caño Cristales and 50 hectares, whose purpose is the conservation of forests.
