Day 1. Casanare – Arrival Transfer

Assistance at El Alcaraván International Airport in Yopal and transfer to Savanna Orinoquía Lodge hotel. The journey will take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, crossing the characteristic landscapes of the Eastern Plains. Along the way, you will

observe vast savannas, cattle ranches, gallery forests, and the natural wealth that distinguishes the Colombian Orinoquía region, offering a first immersion into the environment that will accompany you throughout your stay.

Day 2. Casanare – Llanero Sunset

Breakfast at the hotel. At the end of the afternoon, you will enjoy one of the most iconic experiences of the Eastern Plains: the Llanero Sunset, a natural spectacle in which the sky transforms into a palette of intense colors that reflect the essence of the region. During the rainy season, the activity takes place aboard a traditional bongo boat on the waters of the Cravo Sur River, allowing you to admire from a privileged perspective the golden, orange, and reddish hues that characterize the Llanero sunsets. During the dry season, the experience takes place at the head of the lodge’s airstrip. Throughout the activity, a perfect setting will be available to relax, admire the landscape, and connect with nature as the afternoon comes to an end.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to enjoy the hotel facilities, relax, and connect with the tranquility of the landscapes of the Colombian Orinoquía. As a recommended activity, we suggest a horseback riding excursion across the Llanero savanna.

DAY 4. Casanare – Departure Transfer

Breakfast at the hotel. Assistance at Savanna Orinoquía Lodge and transfer to El

Alcaraván International Airport.
