Day 1. Leticia - Arrival Transfer – Leticia City Tour

Meet and greet at Vásquez Cobo Airport in Leticia. Transfer to the hotel.

At the scheduled time, enjoy a guided walking tour of Leticia, during which we will have the opportunity to see the city and its main points of interest, including the river port, City Hall, Departmental Government offices, Banco de la República, and the spectacular arrival of thousands of parrots to the Main Square, where we will have the opportunity to hear them. Day 2. Leticia - Marasha Reserve (Perú)

Breakfast at the hotel. Boat trip to Marasha Reserve, located deep in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, approximately 45 minutes from Leticia.

Upon arrival, enjoy an approximately one-hour ecological hike along trails surrounded by lush vegetation. During the hike, visitors will immerse themselves in the tranquility of the rainforest, enjoy a unique natural setting, and discover its rich biodiversity, including various species of flora and fauna native to the Amazon. An ideal experience for connecting with nature and appreciating the beauty of one of the world's most important ecosystems.

Includes: Local guide and boat transportation. Lunch at the reserve. Free afternoon to enjoy the reserve.

In the evening, depart for a night excursion through the Amazon rainforest. During the tour, visitors will venture into the tropical forest, where they can listen to the characteristic sounds of wildlife and experience the natural environment from a different perspective. The activity offers the opportunity to spot some species of rainforest wildlife that are active at night. At the end of the excursion, return to the reserve. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 3. Marasha - Isla de los Micos – Puerto Nariño

Breakfast at the reserve. At the scheduled time, depart by boat along the Amazon River towards Isla de los Micos (Monkey Island), where we will make a brief visit to explore the area and participate in a supervised primate-feeding activity following the guide's instructions. Continue the journey to an indigenous community, where you will have the opportunity to learn about their culture, traditions, clothing, handicrafts, and way of life through a respectful encounter with the communities that inhabit the region.

The journey continues to Puerto Nariño, the second municipality in the department of Amazonas, located approximately 80 km from Leticia. This village is renowned for its commitment to environmental conservation. No motorized vehicles are allowed, and transportation within the community is by foot or by river. Its inhabitants mainly belong to the Tikuna, Yagua, Cocama, Huitoto, and other indigenous ethnic groups.

During the boat ride, depending on river conditions and wildlife activity, there may be an opportunity to spot pink river dolphins and gray river dolphins, as well as different fish species and the spectacular Amazonian scenery.

At the end of the excursion, return by boat to Leticia. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 4. Leticia - Ethnobotanical Center – Jungle Hike and/or Cultural Talk with a Uitoto Elder

Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, depart by road towards Kilometer 7, where we will visit a theme park dedicated to environmental conservation and the restoration of former eroded soils in the Amazon. This site features an important collection of plant species and offers an experience combining nature, culture, and ancestral knowledge. During the visit, we will explore the Botanical Garden, featuring Amazonian medicinal plants and their traditional uses; the Natural Products area, where visitors will learn about native fruits and ingredients used to produce handicrafts and artisanal products; the Cultural Village, featuring malocas representing different indigenous ethnic groups and traditional activities such as archery and blowpipe shooting; and the Aquarium, which houses various fish species native to the region and highlights their importance within the Amazon ecosystem.

OPTION 1 – Jungle Hike

Approximately 45-minute hike offering the opportunity to connect with nature and experience the Amazon rainforest within the reserve's conservation area. Visitors will appreciate and experience the tropical rainforest in its natural state, with

opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife observation. The entire park visit is accompanied by an environmental interpreter or a local indigenous expert with extensive knowledge of the region. Approximately one-hour cultural talk.


OPTION 2 – Cultural Encounter with a Uitoto Elder

Visit one of the malocas within the park and meet Mrs. Flor Zafierekudo, a knowledgeable member and cultural facilitator of the Uitoto Marui people. A

respected expert on the Uitoto ethnic group, she has been actively working for many years to preserve and strengthen the cultural identity of her community. At the end of the tour, return to Leticia. Dinner and accommodation.
