Day 1. Barranquilla - Arrival transfer (February 5, 2027)

Day 2. Barranquilla - Battle of Flowers (February 6, 2027)

Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, we will head to the meeting point to enjoy the most iconic parade of the Barranquilla Carnival: the Battle of Flowers. This grand parade, led by the Carnival Queen, features a spectacular procession of float trucks, comparsas (dance troupes), cumbiambas, costumes, and folkloric groups that fill Via 40 with color and joy. Along the route, we will admire the creativity and talent of the artists and dancers who liven up the parade, in an atmosphere full of music, tradition, and culture. Created in 1903 on the initiative of General Heriberto Arturo Vengoechea, the Battle of Flowers commemorates the end of the Thousand Days' War and symbolizes the transformation of "bullets into flowers."

This parade brings together the cultural and musical essence of the Colombian Caribbean. Along the route, we will appreciate the performances of traditional folkloric groups, cumbiambas, and comparsas, which fill the streets with rhythm, color, and joy. Unlike other parades, there are no float trucks or large sound systems here, allowing you to fully enjoy the dance, music, and roots of the carnival in its most authentic form.

Along the route, we will witness choreographic mixtures that combine the traditional with the modern, the local with the international. Dancers and comparsas present rhythms from various nationalities such as salsa, champeta, reggaeton, samba, and electronic music, fused with native sounds like cumbia, porro, mapalé, son de negro, and merecumbé.
